Age & Attendance Policy

NorseForged Gathering is an all-ages event.

Minors must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Parents and guardians are fully responsible for the safety, behavior, and well-being of any minors in their care.

Government-issued photo ID may be required for age verification related to alcohol service, wristbands, or restricted activities.

Laws, Safety & Enforcement

All local, county, state (North Carolina), and federal laws apply at all times during the event.

Law enforcement, emergency services, and county officials may be present on site.
Violations of the law or event policies may result in removal from the event without refund.

Drug Policy

NorseForged Gathering is a drug-free event.

Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances is prohibited.
Drug paraphernalia intended for illegal use is not permitted.
Violations may result in immediate removal from the event and referral to law enforcement.

Costumes & Immersion

Costumes and immersive attire are optional but strongly encouraged.

Attendees may participate in immersion at their own comfort level.
Dressing in theme helps bring the world of NorseForged to life and is appreciated but not required.
Your costume must be safe for others.
No nudity is permitted as this is an all ages event.

Code of Conduct & Harassment Policy

All attendees have the right to feel safe and respected.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threats will not be tolerated. Hate symbols and targeted harassment are prohibited. Event organizers reserve the right to restrict displays or behavior that compromise safety, inclusivity, or enjoyment.

Attendance and community participation may be revoked at the discretion of event staff.

Wristbands & Day Passes

Multi-day passes require an official event wristband, which must be worn at all times.

Single-day passes are identified by a hand stamp valid only for the day of entry.
Wristbands and stamps are non-transferable.
Lost wristbands must be reported immediately to gate staff with valid ID.

Arrival, Entry & Search Policy

To ensure the safety of all adventurers, all persons, backpacks, wagons, camping gear, and vehicles entering the event are subject to search.

Searches are conducted for safety purposes only.
Refusal to comply with a search may result in denial of entry or removal from the event.
Early Arrival access requires prior approval.

Fire, Explosives & Flame Devices

Fireworks, explosives, and fuel-based flame devices are prohibited.

Cooking devices must be commercially manufactured and used as intended.
Fire restrictions may change based on weather conditions or county regulations.
Attendees must comply with all fire safety directives issued by event staff.

Only approved fire performers may spin or play with fire.

Alcohol Policy

Alcohol may not be served, given, or provided to anyone under the age of 21.

Alcohol may not be sold or distributed publicly without approved vendor status and proper permits.

Alcohol is allowed within campsites and if you bring your own, you are resposible for keeping it in your campsite and who it is distributed to.

Food & Vendor Rules

Anyone distributing food, drinks, water, or ice to the public must be an approved and permitted vendor.

You are only allowed to cook and distribute food to your known campmates and family.

Wildlife & Land Respect

Do not disturb wildlife or natural habitats.

Be mindful of insects, snakes, and native species.
Respect the land and follow Leave No Trace principles.

Pets & Animals

Pets are not permitted on site.

ADA-compliant service animals are permitted as required by law.
Emotional support animals are not classified as service animals under ADA guidelines.

Sound & Quiet Hours

Personal speakers are only allowed within campsites.

Attendees must respect neighboring camps and shared spaces.
Quiet hours must be observed as listed on the official event schedule.
Event staff may request volume reduction if sound becomes disruptive.

Photos, Video & Live Streaming

Photography, video recording, and live streaming are allowed.

Attendees must respect personal boundaries and requests for privacy.
Always ask before filming individuals or private camps.

Photography, video recording, and live streaming are strictly prohibited in restrooms/showers under any circumstances.

Drones & Aerial Devices

Drones and remote-controlled aircraft are not permitted.

Any aerial filming requires prior written approval from event management.

Selling, Buying & Bartering

Selling goods or services requires approved vendor status and appropriate permits.

Exchanging real-world currency without approval is prohibited.
Bartering without money is allowed unless otherwise restricted

Camping & Camp Etiquette

Camps are private spaces.
Respect camp boundaries and posted barriers.

Be mindful of trip hazards, especially at night.
Fires must comply with all event fire safety policies.

Weapons & Props

Prop weapons are permitted.
Edged weapons will be peace tied at front gate and need to remain peace tied throughout the event.

Real firearms, ammunition, or functioning projectile weapons are prohibited.
Bladed props must be dull and handled responsibly.
Event staff reserve the right to inspect or restrict any item deemed unsafe.

Final Authority

NorseForged Gathering reserves the right to interpret, enforce, and update all event policies.
