Join us November 15, 2025, for a one-day Norse fantasy tavern experience in New London, NC. Immerse yourself in a world of D&D, card games, local food, mead and brews, a bustling merchant bazaar, and outside adventures.

Gaming hall
Dive into Dungeons & Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer, and more inside the giant tavern hall. There will be plenty of tables for comfortable gaming. So bring your dice, cards, and miniatures for an epic day of getting lost in other worlds.

Outside activities
Outside the tavern walls you will find the merchant bazaar, the mead garden, plenty of areas to sit down and relax, photo ops, and a hand full of activities with Til Ragnarok, like log wrestling and axe throwing.
We will also have Skadi OakenLake's D&D "Kiddie Pool" to help people learn how the basics and how to play Dungeons and Dragons for the first time. You can sign up to sit at one of her run throughs here.

Mead Garden
Indulge in delicious food and local mead/brews. A dedicated Mead Garden with vendors and seating awaits. (21+ for alcohol.) There will be a variety of foods to keep you fueled for your adventures. There will be a giant tent full of tables for adventurers to sit down with their food and drink.

Immersive Costume Experience
We are aiming to create a feast for the eyes, as well as our bellies. Norse, fantasy, medieval—all nerds are welcome (within guidelines on event page). No “modern” attire.

Photo Opportunities
Capture memories in themed scenes and share your adventures. Content creation encouraged! Maybe you’ll even run into a content creator to snap a selfie with.

Venture inside the giant gaming hall, and you'll discover a haven for weary adventurers: the Adventurer's Tavern, expertly hosted by MoonJoy Meadery. This is the perfect place for gamers and wanderers needing a refreshing break from their quests and battles. Grab a delicious mead, share stories of your triumphs (and near misses!), and recharge before diving back into the action. The Adventurer's Tavern offers the perfect atmosphere to relax, connect with fellow players, and savor the taste of victory!
Gaming Galore
Bring your deck and battle! Casual play, dedicated card game tables, and a welcoming community for all skill levels.
There will be assigned tables for the D&D preplanned games, tables exclusively for Magic: The Gathering, and Old World Warhammer. There will also be open tables for adventurers to play any game they wish, bring your games from home if you want to ask others to join in.
